What we’ve been up to…

Year 4: Ilam Hall

Year 4 had an absolutely fantastic few days at Ilam Hall. We had a brilliant time creating and launching rockets and orienteering. The children even made their own beds!!! The highlight of the trip was the night walk, where we saw bats and enjoyed exploring in the dark with our torches.

Poisson d’avril ( April Fish) and French Smoothies

To round up our French Food topic, Y3 had a great time making healthy smoothies during their French lesson yesterday. Then we made some gentle/ scary fishes to follow the French tradition. Paper fishes are used to play an April Fools trick, involving sticking a paper fish onto the back of as many adults as possible, then running away yelling “Poisson d’Avril” (April Fish!).
