Year 5 : Guess Who Game in French

Around this time of the year, our students are learning how to describe people by asking their nationality, profession, age, and where they are from. After we have learned the vocabulary, students have to find a mystery celebrity by running, one by one, to read a short text describing this person. The first team to discover the right one is the winner. They had fun running and guessing while practising their French.

Year 3 – Tomatoes! Tomatoes!

From a seed or young plant, children learned first-hand that tomatoes come from our garden, not just the food shelf. They learned the concepts of smaller and larger as the fruit grows. They learn colours and shapes as the fruit ripens. Different kinds of tomatoes offer the opportunity to compare and contrast their size, colour, firmness, and taste. They filled the pots almost to the top with seed compost, tapped the compost so it is level, placed the seeds on the surface and then covered them. They placed the cups in a warm and sunny part of the classroom and they are now waiting…
