RSE Day at Middleton

On Thursday 27th June Middleton Primary and Nursery School joined in the National RSE Day ( Relationships and Sex Education) with each class taking part in a related activity during the day. Many of the year groups focused on Relationship Education. From Nursery and Foundation who looked at families and friendship, Year 1 and 2 used the book ” Odd Dog Out” to talk about ” It’s good to be me” and Year 3 read ” Mister Seahorse” and explored different types of families.
Cllr Cate Woodward joined 2H for the afternoon and enjoyed listening to the children’s opinions and watching them create the most fantastic dogs.

Swimming Gala

A huge well done to Eddie, Joseph, Walter, Oliver, Kieran, Daniel, Nerys, Megan, Grace , Soraya, Hannah and Maisie, who all competed in a swimming gala this week. The children swam fantastically well, winning many of their races and with some close second places. Overall, the team placed in third position and were delighted to come home with a bronze medal each. The children were brilliant ambassadors for the school, congratulating and cheering on their competitors.
