Gifted and Talented Maths Event at Middleton

In April, Fernwood Junior School and Southwold Primary School sent some year six children to work with some of our year six children on a maths project. The children worked with new friends from the other schools, collaborated to make scale models of food packages. The maths skills needed were proportion, ratio and the ability to accurately measure lengths.
