World Book Day 2011

An assortment of characters from books arrived at Middleton Primary School this morning.  Characters from traditional tales, like Red Riding Hood and Snow White, were very popular this year and a new addition was Rapunzel.  Lots of Dalmations arrived in school, but the better beware - Cruella is lurking around looking for more fur for a new coat!

We all paraded in the hall first thing in the morning.  The children saw a variety of costumes for characters, we can see that there are a lot of talented parents busy making costumes at home.

We hope that everyone has enjoyed dressing up for World Book Day.  Get your thinking hats on for who you might be next year!
