Art Club Sprintime

Art club are starting the Summer Term by doing some observational sketches of our newly grown daffodils.

We had a lovely time outside carefully looking at the flower and sketching the different shapes, shades and textures we could see.
They are beautiful pieces of work. Well done Art club.

Year 3 – Poisson d’Avril ! April’s Fool in France

A “poisson d’avril” ( April’s Fish) is a joke made on April 1st. In France, children try to stick a fish picture on their friends’ back. When the joke is discovered, they shout “poisson d’avril !”. We loved it and we even put some fishes on teachers’ backs.
