Celebrating Achievement

Star of the Week

In each class the staff choose a pupil who has been the ‘star’ for that week for either their work, behaviour, attitude or anything else where they have ‘shined’. They are entered into our ‘Star of the Week’ book and every Monday morning there is a celebratory assembly where the Star of the Week is announced.

Our acting head teacher, Mrs Sadler Penn, reads out the child’s name and the reason that they have been chosen and their class teacher talks about why they have ‘shined’. The ‘Star of the Week’ is then awarded with their badge to wear throughout the week and given a certificate. We are all very proud of our ‘Stars of the Week’ at Middleton Primary and Nursery School.
