YMCA

Hello and welcome to YMCA childcare! We provide a safe and fun environment for children at Middleton Primary School to prepare for and unwind from the school day. We’re very lucky to have our own space at Middleton Primary, as well as access to the main hall and school grounds for both indoor and outdoor play.

We have extensive staff training and are early years registered.   We have a ‘good’ Ofsted rating.

Before School Club

£3.50 (booked) per session and £4.50 (drop-in) per session:  7.45am – 8.45am

We set children up for the day with a combination of healthy food and fun activities to get their brains and bodies ready for school.

After school club £8.25 (booked) per session and £11.63 (drop-in) per session : 3.30pm – 5.45pm

Children are offered healthy snacks and can take part in a variety of games and activities, which encourage experiential learning and team building. We also support children with their homework and reading.

All children at Middleton Primary School are welcome to take part in our clubs. Just got to bookings.nottsymca.com, make an account, and choose sessions. For more information, please visit our website or give me a call on: 0115 711 7006. We look forward to meeting you soon!

RRSA – Fundraising at Nottingham Trent University

Our RRSA steering group children were invited to be involved in a special fundraising event to help our sister school in Togo. The students organising this event were inspired by our RRSA group’s workshop on Children’s Rights in December 2017 and as a result wanted to help promote RRSA in the University. The fundraising event took place at the University, where we helped to sell cakes, tombola tickets and distribute leaflets about UNICEF and our sister school in Togo. We were also given a tour of the university and had a competition to design a university .Thanks to our students we helped to raised £100.83 . We had a fantastic day and returned to school with treats provided by the students and their tutor Fiona Hunter.
