YMCA

Hello and welcome to YMCA childcare! We provide a safe and fun environment for children at Middleton Primary School to prepare for and unwind from the school day. We’re very lucky to have our own space at Middleton Primary, as well as access to the main hall and school grounds for both indoor and outdoor play.

We have extensive staff training and are early years registered.   We have a ‘good’ Ofsted rating.

Before School Club

£3.00 (booked) per session and £4.50 (drop-in) per session:  7.45am – 8.45am

We set children up for the day with a combination of healthy food and fun activities to get their brains and bodies ready for school.

After school club £7.75 (booked) per session and £11.63 (drop-in) per session : 3.30pm – 5.45pm

Children are offered healthy snacks and can take part in a variety of games and activities, which encourage experiential learning and team building. We also support children with their homework and reading.

All children at Middleton Primary School are welcome to take part in our clubs. Just got to bookings.nottsymca.com, make an account, and choose sessions. For more information, please visit our website or give me a call on: 0115 978 5809. We look forward to meeting you soon!

Kinds regards,

What we’ve been up to…

Year 6 – Kingswood

As we settle in for night 2 at Kingswood, we have shared our favourite moments. So far highlights include: raft building, zip wire and archery (oh and of course the food). We are looking forward to the climbing wall tomorrow. We have had lovely weather for the most part and are all happy and healthy. We will continue to send regular messages through marvellousme. We are looking forward to seeing you all Friday.

New RRSA Video on YouTube

Our RRSA steering group has been busy. With UNICEF in mind, they have made a special video for the new school year.

Picnic in The Park – July 2017

On Tuesday 25 July, we had a whole school picnic in Wollaton Park. We played cricket, football, parachute games, skipping ropes etc. The children particularly enjoyed meeting up with older siblings and other family members. Once again this annual event was a crowd-pleaser. A real sense of community could be felt as everyone came together to sit, chat and share. A big thank you to everyone who gave their time and support.
