Hello and welcome to YMCA childcare! We provide a safe and fun environment for children at Middleton Primary School to prepare for and unwind from the school day. We’re very lucky to have our own space at Middleton Primary, as well as access to the main hall and school grounds for both indoor and outdoor play.
We have extensive staff training and are early years registered. We have a ‘good’ Ofsted rating.

What we’ve been up to…
Art club are starting the Summer Term by doing some observational sketches of our newly grown daffodils.
We had a lovely time outside carefully looking at the flower and sketching the different shapes, shades and textures we could see.
They are beautiful pieces of work. Well done Art club.
A “poisson d’avril” ( April’s Fish) is a joke made on April 1st. In France, children try to stick a fish picture on their friends’ back. When the joke is discovered, they shout “poisson d’avril !”. We loved it and we even put some fishes on teachers’ backs.
