RIGHT of the month
Article 29
Children's education should help them fully develop their personalities, talents and abilities. It should teach them to understand their own rights, and to respect other people's rights, cultures and differences. It should help them to live peacefully and protect the environment.
Welcome to Middleton
We are a happy, caring school where all children are encouraged to be active, independent learners.
We are proud to have been granted both the UNICEF Rights Respecting School Gold Award and the International Schools Award. Together, these recognize the school’s underpinning ethos based on promoting inclusion, celebrating diversity and nurturing a respectful attitude where everyone’s rights are recognised and valued.
The school was graded as ‘Good’ in its most recent Ofsted inspection (Feb 2023). The report noted that: “The school's values of 'I always do my best. We are honest, kind and respectful. We care for our school, our community and our world' are truly lived out at Middleton School. Pupils know these values well."
Whether you already have children with us, or are a prospective parent/carer, please don’t hesitate to contact us if we can help. If you would like to have paper copies of any documents contained on this website, parents/carers can request these free of charge from the school office.
