Charity fundraising

We held a fabulous fortnight of fundraising, including children in Y5/6 organising stalls and games, and all children taking part in a sponsored 'Walk for Water' event (as shown below). With the support of the whole school community, we raised the amazing total of £6,000 over the two weeks. This was shared between two charities - one local, one international - that our Rights Respecting Schools Ambassadors had helped to select. They were:

• The Mustard Seed Project, based in Ruddington, which supports a school and community project in Uganda.
• The Footprints Conductive Education Centre in Clifton, which does fantastic work in helping to empower families with disabled children.

Each charity was presented with £3,000 at a special assembly.
