Oak National Academy
If your child is absent from school for any length of time, the Oak National Academy - an educational organisation sponsored by the Department for Education - is an excellent virtual learning resource tailored to each individuial year group. The materials are all created by subject and curriculum experts, informed by the best available evidence of what works and aligned to the national curriculum. It has a Pupils' section where hundreds of lessons can be accessed for free - so as a parent you can click on your child's year group, then select whichever subject from the curriculum you wish for your child to access. The resources are continually being reviewed and more lessons added.
