School Uniform
At Middleton, we request that all children (other than those in Nursery) wear our school uniform. This helps to develop a sense of belonging and identity.
The uniform consists of:
- Bottle green jumper or cardigan
- Bottle green or white polo shirt or white shirt/blouse
- Grey or black trousers, skirt, shorts or pinafore, or green and white checked dress in warmer weather.
- Sensible black school shoes
- PE kit to include plain white or green T-shirt, dark shorts and plimsolls/trainers (in a named drawstring bag to hang on pegs for children in F2/Y1; children from Y2 upwards wear their kit to school on their designated PE days)
- Book bags (available from suppliers below with the school emblem) are very useful to protect books/bring letters home in etc
Buying uniform
We do not sell any new uniform items at school. Orders can be made with the suppliers below. Whilst it is preferable to wear branded uniform with the Middleton logo, this is not essential. Generic uniform from supermarkets and other retailers can be worn instead, following the above requests about colour.
We also offer a second hand uniform facility. Our PTA, the Friends of Middleton, maintain a rail of good condition, second hand uniform in the school foyer. This is available to all parents/carers for a small donation.
